What are the main requirements and steps involved in obtaining a Work and Study Visa in Ireland?

• The English course must last 25 weeks (6 months), with a minimum of 15 hours of classes per week.
• The Work and Study Visa permits you to work 20 hours per week for the duration of the visa. 
• You have between eight and ten weeks of holidays during the eight months of the visa.
• You can work full-time (40 hours per week) between December 15 and January 15 or during the summer in Ireland (including June, July, August and September). 
• You can start your course any Monday of the year apart from bank holidays and the Christmas / New year period. 
• The only age limit is that you must be 18 years or older.
• The total cost of the course must be paid before arriving in Ireland. 
• You must prove that you have access to € 4500 when you register for the visa. This is separate from the cost of the course. 
• The visa has a cost of € 300, which is paid during visa registration in Ireland. 
• All students must have private health insurance that covers the duration of their stay. All of our packages include private medical insurance. 
• You must have a minimum of 85% attendance at your classes. 
• At the end of your course, you must take a recognized exam such as IELTS or one of the Cambridge exams.
